We have varying rates for private lesson and classes. Each is determined by length of class, location, number of students and topic.


Many people tend to prefer private classes since it usually takes LESS time (therefore money) to learn something in a smaller, more focused and custom environment.

We train on all topics including:

  • New beginners/seniors
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, 
  • Quickbooks
  • Dreamweaver, WordPress, HTML, CSS
  • iMovie, video editing
  • iPhone, Android, iPad

Our private tutoring sessions are charged by the hour starting at $50/hour with a minimum of two hours.  Note: if you come to our location, the rate is $50/hour; if we come to you, the rate increases commensurately by topic areas (Office products and beginners are less) and your location.

Bonus: if you have additional colleagues or friends who would like to join you, the rate can be decreased per hour per person.



Group classes are offered on-site and are a great way to save money on training a larger group all at once. We work around your schedule and customize the training for you.

  • Dreamweaver

Group class rates are determined by the number of students, length of the class, location and topic. A general estimate of cost is $25-35/hour per student. For a larger number of students, the rate will decrease.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

If a client cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, we offer a courtesy of a one-time "pass" (stuff happens, we know this). After this first cancellation, if you cancel within 24 hours an additional time, there will be a 50% fee of what the total amount time scheduled. This fee is on the "honor" system and hope the client submits payment related to cancellation.

If the client has paid in advance and San Francisco Computer Training deems it appropriate, we will forgo this fee and offer another time schedule for meeting, or a 50% return on the payments. A full refund will not be offered once paid if there is an additional cancellation within 24 hours, however, we may allow you to use the credit you have with SFCT to use it towards a training session.

But please be courteous and respectful of our time as our schedules are full and any last minute cancellations means unnecessary loss of time and business. If you get sick, we understand this, if your dog gets sick, we understand this (that's the reason for the pass), but if it happens more than once, we gotta do what we gotta do and hope you understand and make yourselves accountable for missing the pre-arranged appointment.
